A bridge across the Nisdi stream in Galdha VDC, Palpa, remains unused even after six months of construction due to lack of access road.  

After years of construction delay, the bridge was finally completed six months ago at the initiative of the District Development Committee. The newly completed bridge, however, could not be put to use because the access road that is supposed to connect the bridge has not been constructed yet.

Bhimarjun Pandey, the chief of District Technical Office, said the firm contracted to build road has promised to complete the road by the end of the current fiscal year.

The bridge was constructed with the cost of about Rs 16 million.
