The youths came up with the six-point declaration that includes disaster preparedness, management, consequences of earthquake, laws, policies and provisions.

Other points include making both the government and non-government sectors accountable in rebuilding.

Equal distribution of resources and mobilising local resources and involving the local people are other points of the declaration.

At the end of a three-day training organised by the Association of Youth Organisations Nepal, a resolution was made for representation of women, children, people living with disability, and marginalised communities in reconstruction and zero tolerance against corruption.
