Four Kailash Mansarovar Yatra pilgrims have died in Tibet in the past few days.
Police have identified the deceased as Indian nationals Daulat Singh, 59, of Rajnagar in Madhyapradesh; Badampuriram Linge, 62, of Andra Pradesh; Bhogilal Desai Bhai Patel, 76, of Jotpur and Canadian citizen of Indian origin Krishna Murti, 62. The bodies have been sent to Kathmanu and Nepalgunj, District Police Office said on Saturday. More pilgrims are using the Nepalgunj-Simkot-Hilsa route after the obstructions at Tatopani border in Sindhupalchok district. According to the local administration, around 3,000 people have already travelled to Mansaovar through this route. (PR)
