Preparations for the annual  Miss Tourism Queen International pagent, to be held in Wenzhou, China from Sept 12-28, are gathering steam with the organisers now opening their doors to applicants in Nepal. The winner of the Nepali leg of the event, will go on to represent Nepal at the Miss Tourism Queen International 2016 in China. Former winners of the pageant—organised since 1994—include Kunchhang Moktan, Hema Shreshta, and Samriddhi Rai, who bagged the Miss Personality title at the 2011 paegent held in Malaysia.
