Left out in the latest unification among ten Maoist forces, CPN-Revolutionary Maoist Chairman Mohan Baidya reached Baluwatar on Saturday to congratulate Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
A faction from Baidya’s force led by Ram Bahadur Thapa returned to the mother party in May to form the CPN (Maoist Centre). Baidya, who was Dahal’s deputy for a long time, refused to reunite at the last moment. On Saturday, Baidya advised Dahal to become pro-people while the latter sought the outfit’s
support to the government. On the day when Dahal became the prime minister a second time, the Baidya-led party had announced its plan for a struggle.
