Kantipur TV, Sipradi in corporate semis

Kantipur TV laboured to a two-wicket victory over Premier Insurance. Electing to bat first, Premier Insurance made 78-3 in 12 overs. Kantipur replied with 79-5 with five balls to spare. Amar Pradhan (18) and Ujjwol Prashant (11) chipped in invaluable runs to see their side through.
Mimu Tuladhar picked up two wickets for Premier. Earlier, it was Tuladhar who had pushed Premier towards a respectable total making a 35-ball 39 not out with two fours and a six. Shibi Shah also made 13 runs. Tuladhar was adjudged the man-of-the-match.
SIpradi, meanwhile, hammered Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF) by 80 runs riding on an explosive knock from Dipesh Shrestha. They amassed a tournament-high 112-5 in 12 overs after Shrestha slammed six sixes and a four in an unbeaten 34-ball 60. NSJF, in reply, were bundled out for just 32 - tournament’s lowest total - in nine overs.
Shawant Jung Sijapati, who had also contributed 23 runs, took 5-8 from three overs and walked away with the man-of-the-match award.
In the third quarter-final, Gorkha Brewery eased to a four-wicket victory over Yeti Airlines. Yeti were 67 all out in 10.5 overs before Gorkha Brewery reached 68-3 in 9.2. Bijay Rawat (18) and man-of-the-match Bibek Thapa (15) led their team’s march with unbeaten innings. Earlier, Sandeep Shrestha had top scored with 25 runs for Yeti Airlines.
F1 Soft, meanwhile, cruised past NCC Bank by four wickets. F1 restricted NCC to 63-5 in 12 overs and reached the target in 10.5 overs with a 22-ball 23 from Rabindra Gautam. Pravesh Mathema (14) also made runs in double figures. Suraj Dhungana top scored with 23 for NCC.
