KTV Gold to broadcast all 16 matches live

EPL is a Twenty20 cricket competition to be contested by six franchises from corporate houses of the country. Following an agreement with tournament organisers Zohra Sports Management (ZSM), KTV Gold has agreed to telecast all 16 matches live from the TU Stadium.
Kantipur Gurkhas of Kantipur Publications, Panchakanya Tez of Panchakanya Group, Vishal Warriors of Vishal Group of Companies, Jagdama Rhinos of Shanker Group, Colors X Factors of Teletalk Pvt Ltd and Sagarmatha Legends of Ghorahi Cement are the six franchises competing in the tournament. All the franchises are led by national team members.
“This is a historic understanding by any private television company in Nepal to support Nepali cricket to this level. With this, the deserving players will be able to showcase their talent on a digital platform and sponsors will get the decent exposure to their brands investing in the event,” said Aamir Akhtar, ZSM Managing Director.
Kantipur Gurkhas, led by national team veteran spinner Basanta Regmi, will kick off the tournament with the match against Vishal Warriors on the opening day. The round-robin league will see 15 games, while the top two finishers will play for title.
All the players will get match fee every day with the skippers assured of Rs 20,000 for one game.
While the national players who have played minimum 15 international matches will get Rs 15,000, U-19 World Cup players will get Rs 12,000 and regional cricketers will pocket Rs 8,000 each match. ZSM is yet to announce the cash purse for winners.
