Former PM and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has criticised Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal for going on an ‘insignificant’ visit to India.Former PM and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has criticised Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal for going on an ‘insignificant’ visit to India.
Oli, who was toppled by CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Dahal charging him with failing to bring the agitating Madhesi parties and Janajatis groups on board and blaming him for the not-so-good relations with the Southern neighbour, has been vehemently criticising PM Dahal’s activities.
The main opposition party chairman said there was no such urgency and reason as to visit India within a month of assuming office. At a party function in Lalitpur on Thursday, Oli criticised PM Dahal’s decision to send special envoys to India and China shortly after joining office when the country did not face an extraordinary situation.
Flaying the three-point pact signed by the Nepali Congress, the Maoists and the Madhesi parties, Oli claimed that it would harm the country’s territorial integrity while any foreigner could come to
settle here, acquire the citizenship and become the President of Nepal.
