Tez crush X-Factor

Skipper Sharad Vesawkar put an all round display as Pancha-kanya Tez beat Colors X-Factor by 34 runs to record their second straight win of the Wai Wai Everest Premier League on Monday. 

Tez rode on a half century from Aasif Sheikh to reach 154-3 in 20 overs. Vesawkar, who had earlier made 40, returned to pick up three crucial wickets including that of captain Gyanendra Malla to restrict X-Factor for just 120 runs. 

Karan KC also took three wickets for Tez. Himanshu Dutta top scored with 28 runs from 25 balls with a six. Earlier, it was Sheikh who gave a perfect start to Tez adding 51 runs for the first wicket with Sanjay Shrestha (21). Sheikh added another 83 runs with Vesawkar before losing his wicket for 67 off 60 with five fours and two sixes. Vesawkar made 40 off 39 with two fours and a six. (PR)
