Once the festival is over, the amendment process will take 15 to 30 days, he said at an interaction organised by the Reporter’s Club in the Capital on Friday. “There will be no delay in constitution amendment as the major parties are in the final stage of arriving at political consensus.”
Minister KC hopes that the main opposition CPN-UML will also agree on the amendment process. “We need to make the constitution more acceptable to all sections [of society]. For this, there should be consensus among the Nepali Congress, the CPN-UML and the CPN (Maoist Centre).”
