Equipment to trace big cats given to police

A police team mobilised to tame man-eater leopards that have been terrorising people of Talloswaorad area in Baitadi district has been provided some equipment to trace the big cats.
National Information and Communication Centre Nepal, a Kanchanpur-based NGO, has provided binoculars and torch lights to the police team to facilitate the search operation. Police have been facing a hard time locating and taking big cats under control due to lack of proper equipment. Technical assistant of Udayadev VDC Laxman Mahata said that four torch lights and a pair of binoculars have been handed over to the police team deployed in the area. The District Police Office has mobilised 15 policemen to hunt down the leopards.
