Bishnuchowk community mourns death of fallen rifleman

Bimal, 21, was the only son of Bal Bahadur and Nirmaya Tamang.
His father, Bal Bahadur, said his son became a martyr at a young age and the family plans to perform his funeral according to their tradition in Dharan.
“We have asked the Indian Army to send his Astu (remains) home by November 7 for the funeral,” said Bal Bahadur.
Meanwhile, the Indian Army organised a military send-off for Bimal.
According to the Indian Army’s statement, Bimal was a dedicated, brave and sincere soldier, a thorough professional who loved his job to the core.
