Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Friday directed the ministers representing his party, CPN (Maoist Centre), to take institutional decisions following chain of command.
He told the concerned ministers not to take individual decision on important issues and consult with him if necessary.
The prime minister also voiced concern over growing negative perception regarding the government, which he claimed was a result of rumours spread by the opposition leaders. Even the good works of the government are being cast in an unfavourable light, he said.
The rumours against the party-led ministries and their agencies must be dispelled urgently, Dahal told his party ministers.
Prime Minister Dahal also instructed the ministers to prepare a report of the achievements of their ministries so far.
The first 100 days of the Maoist party-led coalition government, which was formed on August 4, is just 10 days away, and the prime minister wants something positive to show for it.
He is of the view that the list of achievements of his government in the first 100 days will quell his detractors and critics.
Youth and Sports Minister Daljit Shripaili said the prime minister has directed the Maoist ministers to work hard to win the public trust.
The message that the prime minister wanted to drive home was that the people should see and feel the change.
