Sanghiya Samajbadi Forum Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav has accused the major parties of not being serious about constitution amendment even after setting seven deadlines to register an amendment bill.
Talking to journalists at Biratnagar Airport, Yadav warned that the Madhesi people would not remain silent if the parties did not keep their promise.
Yadav said it would be futile to restructure the local bodies and to hold local elections without settling the issue of constitution amendment which would involve redrawing the federal boundaries.
