Kaymu will be offering hundreds of deals from top brands across all categories including electronics, fashion and home décor at the event which is being held for the first time in Nepal, the company said.
The newest flagship smartphone from Micromax subsidiary Yu Televentures, the Yunicorn, which was recently launched in the Indian online market, will be available exclusively from Kaymu in Nepal at a special price during its upcoming Black Friday event.
The Yunicorn offers superior multitasking, mind-boggling graphics and amazing audio experience, the company said. The phone comes with 2.5D glass for seamless round edges and an all-metal body in rich gold and silver colours. It is equipped with MediatekHelio P10 octa-core processor, 4 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM that provide a rich and immersive, superior multi-tasking experience.
The Yunicorn is fitted with a 13 MP autofocus rear camera and 5 MP front camera for amazing selfies, the company said. The set, with a steroid launcher, has a customized user interface that makes it look premium and is more intuitive. It has a vertical app drawer for faster app scrolling, YU cloud backup with a single sign in, integrated search and more. It runs on Android 5.1.1 offering a pure and clutter-free experience. Black Friday is the day following Thanksgiving Day in the United States (the fourth Thursday of November). Since 1932, it has been regarded as the beginning of the Christmas shopping season in the US, and most major retailers open very early and offer promotional sales.
Black Friday will definitely be the biggest online sales event of the year, the company said in a statement.
Kaymu is an online marketplace founded in 2013, providing localized customer-to-customer and business-to-consumer products in Africa, Europe and Asia.
In Nepal, Kaymu has led the ecommerce revolution in Nepal for the last two years, and now they’ve moved one step ahead with the launch of the Black Friday event.
