CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Agni Sapkota has said that the constitution amendment bill registered in Parliament will not be withdrawn.
In a press meet organised by Press Centre, Chitwan, on Saturday, he said the bill was registered to address the demands of indigenous and minorities and it will not be withdrawn.
The Maoist leader said that the constitution amendment proposal was not registered at the interest of any external forces as claimed by the agitating parties, including CPN-UML.
The bill was brought to address the demands of the marginalised and minorities, he added.
Sapkota also said that the incumbent government was working to hold the three-tier elections in time.
