The coopoerative operated all its 40 buses on four different routes from early morning till evening.
“We have established ourselves for the service of common people and are committed to operate the bus service 365 days,” said Mahendra Raj Pandey, acting chief executive officer of Sajha Yatayat.
Sajha has been providing services in four routes: Lagankhel-Ratnapark, Narayangopal Chowk-New Bus Park, Lagankhel-Singhadurbar, Ratnapark-Narayangopal Chowk (Maharajgunj)-Budhanilakantha, Airport-Kamalpokhari-Ratnapark-Lainchawor-Thamel-Balaju Bypass and New Bus Park and another route Swyambhu-Kalanki-Ratnapark-New Baneshwor and Koteshwor.
According to him, the buses plied the Valley streets without incidents. The one-day Valley banda called against the fuel price hike was ineffective.
