Jan 3, 2017-

Timea Bacsinszky of Switzerland on Monday pulled out from 2017 WTA Shenzhen Open due to an discomfort in her left abdomen. The organising committee said Bacsinszky didn’t feel well in her left abdomen so she decided to pull out from the tournament. The current world No 15 is the fourth seed this year and was supposed to play against Camila Giorgi of Italy in the first round. Romania’s Ana Bogdan will replace Bacsinszky in the first round.
