Joint effort must to implement charter: VP

- Post Report, TANAHUN

Jan 15, 2017-

Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun has urged the political parties to bridge their differences for the sake of implementing the constitution.

Inaugurating a fair organised by the Nepal Magar Association on the occasion of Maghi in Daauli on Saturday, Pun said unity among the parties was essential to hold three tiers of elections within a year.

The contribution made by various parties and ethnic, religious and cultural groups to establish the agendas of Constituent Assembly and republicanism should not be forgotten, said Pun.

The VP stressed that aspirations of various ethnicities should be addressed as Nepal is a multi-ethnic and multi-lingual nation. People of the Mountains,

Hills and the Tarai should work together to implement the charter, he said.
