The government has decided to form a three-member task force under Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development Hitraj Pande to study the complaints against a report prepared by the Local Level Restructuring Commission (LLRC) and present suggestion within two weeks. 

A Cabinet meeting took the decision to this effect on Thursday.

The move follows pressure from the Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM), which has objected to the report, saying it was prepared without consulting the Madhes-based parties and people from the eight districts of Province 2 and that it lacks the mention of autonomous, protected and special regions. 

Minister for Supplies Deepak Bohara and Minister for Industry Nabindra Raj Joshi are the members of the taskforce.

The government has asked the taskforce to follow the mandate given to the LLRC while studying the complaints and preparing its suggestions.
