Kathmandu, Morang set title clash

Morang and Kathmandu set the title clash of the eighth National Deaf Cricket Tournament on Friday. In the first semi-final, Morang defeated Sunsari by 46 runs. Morang made 132-5 in 20 overs with half centuries from Mohammad Sabir (56) and Amrit Tamang (51). Sunsari were 86 all out in 17.5 overs after Aarif Ansari and Ranjan Niraula took three wickets each. Kathmandu beat Banke by 37 runs after Ajay Karna’s 43 runs helped them reach 148-7. Banke were restricted to 111-5in 20 overs. (PR)
