Jajarkot woman found murdered
Family of 24-year-old Radhika Sunar has claimed that she was murdered by her husband Dal Bahadur

A woman was found murdered in a forest at Bherimalika Municipality-4 in Jajarkot district on Sunday.
Police said the body of Radhika Sunar, 24, was discovered near Pasagadh Stream, around 30 minutes away from her home.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhabesh Rimal said Radhika’s body bore deep cut wounds.
A khukuri, a ring and a pair of shoes were also recovered from the incident site.
Radhika’s family claimed that she was murdered by her husband Dal Bahadur Nepali, a Nepal Army soldier who had returned home from Surkhet only a week earlier.
Her brother, Gobinda Mahar, said that Dal Bahadur used to beat Radhika in the past as well.
On Saturday evening, Mahar said, Radhika had called him to tell that she was coming home.
DSP Rimal said Radhika had filed a domestic violence complaint against Dal Bahadur in the past as well.
Woman found dead
KHOTANG: A woman was found dead in a suspicious circumstance at Dambarkhushiwalaya VDC-1 in Khotang on Saturday. Police on Sunday said the victim, who seemed to be in her late twenties, had sustained deep cut injuries around her neck and face. Her identity was not ascertained until Sunday. DSP Nabin Kishwor Pradhan said a police team was deployed to the incident site for investigation. (PR)
