After deal, Morcha ready to take bodies

The local administration has assured the Madhes-based parties of recommending
that the government declare the four deceased as martyrs, offering government job to a family member of each deceased, providing medical expenses to the injured and providing reasonable compensation to the bereaved families.
Chief District Officer Krishna Prasad Katuwal said the local administration and the protesting SLMM signed the agreement on Thursday.
SLMM Saptari coordinator Dinesh Kumar Yadav said they would take the bodies and conduct funeral rituals on Friday.
Saptari banda continues
Normal life remained affected in the district as the SLMM enforced its banda on Thursday as well. The protesters torched the District Land Reform Office in Rajbiraj but the flames were doused immediately by police and the locals. SLMM activists demonstrated at various places in the area. They also vandalised a few vehicles in the district.
