Global IME to extend bonus shares

The 10th annual general meeting (AGM) of Global IME Bank held on Monday approved a special proposal to extend bonus shares equivalent to 15.76 percent of distributable and cumulative profits. After issuance of these bonus shares, the bank’s paid-up capital will increase to Rs7.2 billion, says a statement issued by the bank. The bank’s AGM also elected Chandra Prasad Dhakal, Surhid Raj Ghimire, Pawan Kumar Bhimsariya, Sudarsan Krishna Shrestha, Suman Pokharel and Suraj Kumar Shrestha as board directors. 

They were elected unanimously, says the statement.
