Muktinath expands to Nagarjun

Muktinath Bikas Bank has opened a new branch office at Nagarjun Municipality in Kathmandu. The branch was inaugurated by Himalaya Shumsher Rana, the first governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank, the central bank. With this, the bank now has 56 branch offices. These branches provide various services to around 300,000 customers, including around 100,000 microfinance customers, says a statement issued by the bank. The bank has so far mobilised Rs15.2 billion in deposits and extended Rs13.7 billion in loans.
