Subba’s Sudur Gaunma hits shelves

Sudur Gaunma comprises a total of 48 poems. The book follows Subba’s 2010 debut, Jindagi Chha, a ghazal collection.
Speaking at the launch, critic Munaaj Sharma said, “Subba’s poems are evocative. With a deft use of metaphors, the poet captures at once the life and times of rural villages and urban areas. The poems in the anthology are lucid and beautiful.”
Mishra Baijanti, another critic present at the event, said, “The anthology has created a new sense of excitement and energy among the youth. Since all the poems are relevant in today’s context, the poems inform and aware the readers.”
At the event, Subba also recited poems Kavita ra Meri Chori, Timro Sudur Gaun and Kavi ra Julush, included in the anthology.
