Sebon issues circular

Securities Board of Nepal (Sebon) has asked the issue manager for further public offerings floated by Standard Chartered Bank Nepal to settle allotment process within 50 days of closing date of the public issue. Targeting to ease the liquidity problem appearing in financial sectors, the capital market’s regulator has come up with the circular, reads a press release. According to Sebon, a total of 225,000 investors have invested Rs38 billion to purchase the primary shares recently issued by the bank. (PR)
