NEB Exams Controller Santosh Aryal sacked

- Post Report, Kathmandu
Aryal is linked with the shortage of question papers for grade 12 exams

Apr 27, 2017-

National Examinations Board (NEB) Examinations Controller Santosh Aryal has been removed from his post. A meeting of the NEB decided on Wednesday to sack Aryal after finding that he had sent question papers of the Grade 12 exams to test centres without confirming the number of students.  The NEB said that the exam centres had faced shortage of question papers due to Aryal’s negligence. The board has entrusted NEB Member Secretary Dilliram Rimal with the authority to remove Aryal from the post and hand over the responsibility to senior deputy examinations controller. While Rimal declined to make any comment on the board’s decision, sources within the NEB said the country has been facing shortage of question papers due to sheer negligence of Aryal. “It has also been found that Aryal did not adopt privacy while sending the question papers to the exam centres,” a source said.
