The nationwide book tour started off with an event in Hetaunda on April 30, and travelled to Ratnanagar, in Chitwan, Narayangadh, and Kawasoti, Tansen, Waling, Kushma, Baglung, Beni and drew to an end with an event in Damauli, Tanahun.
The events elsewhere featured poetry recitals and discussions with poet Adhikari.
During the tour, poet Bhupin lauded the poet for “finding a unique style in the use of metaphor”; while another commentator Mukunda Poudel, speaking at the event in Beni said, “I hope the book, based on the plights of labourers, will also go on to inspire the policy makers to come up with better policies to support the labourers.”
Bhariyako Bhugol was released amid the Paleti music series in the Capital on April 29. About the book, author Adhikari has said, “My verses are the wings of my heart.” He added, “Bhariya ko Bhugol is compilation of my expressions that were left unexpressed while I was busy on personal business.”
