The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) said that it has arranged shuttle bus service for tourists and other passengers arriving at and departing from Tribhuvan International Airport on May 14-the local election day.
“We have arranged shuttle bus service to and from the airport to major five-star hotels to facilitate travellers”, said Sudan Subedi, a senior official at the NTB.
The Election Commission (EC) has made it mandatory to obtain permission for the use of vehicles on polling day. Candidates, security officials, national observers, monitors, diplomatic officials and the commissions would require a pass from the EC to run their vehicles on May 14.
