Addressing a function organised at his residence in the Capital on Saturday, Dahal said his party was working for a unified communist movement in Nepal.
Dahal’s proposal comes at a time when both the breakaway factions have been
urging the government to release all the cadres of the CPN who were arrested from different parts of the country during the first phase of local polls.
The Chand-led CPN has announced to foil the elections while Baidya’s party
has joined the polls in the name of Deshbhakta Jana-ganatantrik Manch.
At the function, Dahal welcomed some three dozen leaders and cadres from different parties to the Maoist Centre.
