Sajha set to bring 12 new buses

The buses with 40 seats will be bought at Rs 50 million shares from the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC).
The Metropolis had reached an agreement with Sajha on buying big buses during the tenure of chief executive and officer Rudra Singh Tamang.
Gyanendra Karki, an official at the KMC, the metropolis is all set to hand over the money for buying the buses for Sajha soon. “Sajha is doing a good job for the commoners in the valley. So, the KMC’s support to the cooperative transportation company will continue,” said Karki.
Mahendra Raj Pandey, chief executive officer of Sajha Yatayat, said, the company will start the process of bringing the buses as soon as it receives the money from the metropolis. “Once we get the money from the KMC, we will open Letter of credit,” said Pandey. He said the cooperative will hand over a share certificate to the metropolis.
