Dobandi Budha, a local man, said they were living in temporary shelters in the landslide-prone area for the past one year but help has not arrived.
A landslide has broken out nearby and the people are scared, he added.
Twenty-eight people were killed and more than 80 houses were destroyed by a landslide in Phopli last monsoon.
Obiram BK, the ward chairman of Naubahini-8, said a large-scale evacuation was needed to protect the people still living in landslide-prone settlements, particularly Bhirkuna, Gatina, Toribang and Charibang.
Chief District Officer Yadunath Paudel said their plan of resettling 60 highly vulnerable families was delayed as a team of geologists that was called to identify a safe site for building the proposed settlement had not arrived yet.
