Dish Home continues association with NSJF

NSJF are honouring the achievements of players and sports officials on the basis of their performance in the year 2073 BS at the Nepal Academy Hall. Dish Home Chief Executive Officer Sudeep Acharya and NSJF President Mahesh Acharya signed the agreement on Wednesday. The agreement, worth Rs 380,000, will see Dish Home provide NSJF Rs 250,000 in cash and rest in kind. Dish Home will also provide winners of all eight categories with set-top box and one year of free subscription. The eight categories to be awarded include best male, female and youth players of the year, coach, people’s choice, special, para athlete and lifetime achievement.
While the nominees for best player male, female, youth and coach categories will be unveiled in a due course, the winners for the special, para athlete and lifetime achievement will be announced directly during the award ceremony. The nominees for people’s choice award have already been revealed and include Phupu Lhamu Khatri of judo, long distance runner Kanchi Maya Koju, teen swimmer and Olympian Gaurika Singh, footballer Sujal Shrestha and cricketer Dipendra Singh Airee.
Apart from award winners, Dish Home will also provide set top box and one year free subscription to the five winners who have cast their vote for people’s choice award. The winners will be chosen through a lucky draw. Being the co-sponsor, Action Sports will also do the pre-event and post-event coverage of the award.
Dish Home CEO Acharya said the association with NSJF will continue in the future as well. “We are into our seventh year of the association with NSJF. The Sports Award is a big event in Nepali sports and we would like to continue our sponsorship in coming years as well,” said Acharya. NSJF President Mahesh Acharya thanked Dish Home for a continued partnership, adding: “The association with Dish Home no doubt has been very crucial for us. We would also like to thank other sponsors who have come across to join hands with us.”
