Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) Club beat defending champions New Diamond Academy to clinch the title of National Women’s Volleyball Tournament on Thursday.
APF beat NDA 25-18, 25-18, 25-12 in the final to stop their winning spree. Saraswati Chaudhary (best player), Binita Budathoki (setter) and Usha Bista (quicker) along with Gyanendra Bahadur Bista (coach) swept the awards for APF.
Kamala Pun of Nepal Police Club (libero) and Pratibha Mali (spiker) of NDA were among other winners. The winners and the runners-up won Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively.
