The exhibition, which opened its door on Wednesday, features a total of 29 art works by the Indian artist.
Upadhyay, as an artist, is currently exploring different mediums and hence, the exhibited works range from live sketches to very personal expressions to abstract psychedelic paintings. His flair lies in communicating with striking colours and free lines.
The artist gallery series at Sattya is collaboration between the collective and the various artists it comes across. “We come across so many talented, young artists who are either already collaborating with us or visiting us,” says Bobby Thapa of Sattya. “We want to use this opportunity to acknowledge their unique personalities and to accommodate their works,” he adds.
The art gallery series will promote independent artists from not only Nepal but from across the world. Every art work featured in the series will also be up for sale. The exhibitions will be up at Sattya’s premises for two weeks followed by another exhibition at a restaurant or café in the city, opening up to a larger mass.
Ek Naav will be on at Sattya until September 8.
