CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has claimed the recent political polarisation would lead the country towards economic prosperity and socialism. 

Addressing a programme organised to welcome new entrants to the party on Sunday, the Maoist supremo said that leftist, communist and progressive forces should unite to form a powerful centre and lead the country to attain development, social justice and economic prosperity.

Former Prime Minister Dahal said that the Maoist Centre and the UML have formed a party unification coordination committee to discuss the prospects of unification.

He that a huge number of leaders and cadres are joining the Maoist Centre from across the country. 

“During my recent Tarai visit, I found out that people from different walks of life have put their faith on our party as an agent of change,” said Dahal.
