NBI, Manipal sign MoU

National Banking Institute (NBI) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Manipal Global Education Services to build a strategic alliance for development of qualified human resources in banking and financial services organisations in Nepal. The MoU was signed by NBI CEO Sanjib Subba and Bimaljeet Singh Bhasin, vice president of Manipal Global Education Services, in Bangalore, says a statement issued by NBI. Manipal Global’s Academy of Banking and Financial Services is a leading banking academy of India having trained over 60,000 professionals of leading banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions in India, Middle East, and Southeast Asia, according to the statement. NBI and Manipal Global will collaborate to hold short-term and long-term training programmes, and organise conferences, seminars, workshops and study tours on subjects of mutual interest. (PR)
