The Tivoli received a facelift and comes with the choice of manual or automatic gear boxes. The SUV is priced at Rs 6,599,000 for the automatic fully loaded option and Rs5,699,000 for the manual semi loaded option, reads a press release.
SsangYong is the fourth largest South Korean automobile manufacturer. The company is highly respected for its styling and performance since its formation in 1954, made possible by the company’s quality engineering, reads the press release. Their product line-up consists of luxury cars, SUVs, pickup trucks and MPVs.
Customers looking to buy the new 2017 Tivoli will be entitled to one of SsangYong’s biggest offers, the “SsangYong 65 percent Buy Back Guarantee and Zero Service Cost Offer”.
The scheme offers zero service cost for engine oil, coolant, fuel filter, brake pad (front/rear), A/C filter, oil filter, brake oil, air filter and power steering oil for a period of 3 years. The scheme also includes spot exchange, easy EMI, free accessories, free one year road tax and 2 years warranty up to 40,000 kilometres, reads the press release.
The new Tivoli comes with new prominent bumper show grille, radiator show grille, re-profiled fog lamps which adds versatility and style to its exterior, reads the press release. Apart from its facelift, the SUV also comes with new features like LED daytime running lamps, front fog lamps, innovative LED headlamps, repeaters on the fender and exterior mirrors, power sunroof and roof rail.
Powering the 2017 SsangYong Tivoli is the e-XGi160 engine that delivers optimal performance for both urban and motorway driving with excellent NVH (noise, vibration and harshness), reads the press release. The 1597cc engine produces a maximum power of 126 Bhp (brake horsepower) and maximum torque of 160Nm.
It has a top speed of 159 kmph and does 0 to 100 kmph in 12 seconds. It can run up to 16.6 km on every litre of fuel. The company believes that the new Tivoli is able to satisfy the needs of SUV enthusiasts in Nepal, reads the press release.
The much awaited compact SUV is also loaded with best in class safety features like Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Electronic Brake-force Distribution with Anti-lock Brakes (EBD with ABS), seven airbags, six sensors, heated & ventilated front seats, all disc brakes, and DRL (Daytime Running Lamps) making it a family SUV matching the luxury and safety requirements of Nepal’s current road conditions.
