A Nepali youth believed to be their close aide has also been nabbed.
According to the District Police Office in Kaski, the trio, suspected to be sharp shooters, were arrested on Friday evening as they were buying goods at a shop.
A security source said that four Indian police personnel had come to Nepal from the Indian state of Rajasthan to arrest the trio. The Indian police personnel acted in close coordination with the Nepal Police as there could be legal hassles over extraditing them to India since the two countries do not have an extradition treaty, the source added.
“The trio was arrested in Pokhara. The investigation has been launched,” said Superintendent of Police Ashok Singh. But he refused to divulge more details. The trio is said to have been involved in various criminal activities, including murder and extortion in Rajasthan.
