Shapla Neer—Citizens’ Committee in Japan for Overseas Support—is an international NGO based in Japan which will work with Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN), a Nepali partner NGO, to implement the project, according to a statement issued by the Embassy of Japan in Kathmandu.
The financial assistance has been extended under the Grant Assistance for Japanese NGO Projects Scheme.
A grant contract relating to the project was signed and exchanged between Masashi Ogawa, ambassador of Japan to Nepal, and Tomoko Nakashima, country representative, Shapla Neer Nepal Office, at the Embassy of Japan in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
