The prestigious award reinforces NMB Bank as one of the top commercial banks in Nepal and is a testament to the remarkable growth trajectory that the bank has embarked on in the past few years, reads a press release.
The award is recognised as the industry standard for banking excellence globally. The winners are judged on the basis of their ability to deliver returns to shareholders, bank’s financial performance, shareholders’ value, customers’ initiative amongst other parameters.
According to the bank, the award comes as a feather in the cap for NMB Bank, which has already carved a niche for itself with a foreign JV partner FMO, Netherlands and becoming the sole Nepali bank to become a member of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values.
NMB Bank Chairman Pawan Kumar Golyan and CEO Sunil KC accepted the award on behalf of the bank.
