The tech-fair event will bring together the latest innovations in the fields of design, manufacturing, fabrication, and construction, among others, organisers said.
“The outcomes of the event would provide a platform to discuss, debate, and envision the future of technological innovations, social entrepreneurship, and their sustainability—helping Nepal develop into a product designing and industrial planning hub,” reads a press note issued by the organisers.
A play titled Mira Miraj, written by Aki Thekpa and directed by Bikash Joshi, will also be staged as part of the event. The play, in the spirit of the event’s overall theme, will also mix technology with the theatrics. The play features actors Nisha Karki, Sangeet Sapkota, Vijaya Karki, and Shakti Rai, among others.
Likewise, the event will also see a live musical performance by singer Adha Sur. The first iteration of Mantra, organised jointly by Innovative Ghar Nepal (InG Nepal) and USART Nepal, took place in October.
After its Biratnagar show, the event will travel to Pokhara on February 9 and to the Capital sometime in April, 2018.
