PR results only after upper house vote: Yadav

“The constitution provisions 33 percent female representatives in the federal
parliament. After the National Assembly is elected, the missing portion will have to be fulfilled through the PR system of the House of Representatives,” said Yadav. “Thus, the results of PR system of the House of Representatives will be published only after National Assembly election.”
Yadav added that the EC would publish all the results within 30 days of announcement of the upper house election date.
The chief commissioner also warned the parties not to make changes to the closed list of provincial assembly PR candidates submitted earlier to the Election Commission while notifying the EC about the selected candidates. “The political parties should submit the names as in their closed lists,” he said, warning of any deviations.
