Afghans rout Kiwis by 202 runs

Afghanistan stunned hosts New Zealand by a massive 202 runs to reach the semi-finals of the ICC U-19 World Cup in Hagley Oval on Thursday. Batting first, four Afghanistan batsmen scored half-centuries--Rahmanullah Gurbaz (69), Ibrahim Zadran (68), Bahir Shah (67 not out) and the incredible Azmatullah Omarzai (66 off just 23) to post 309-6. Mujeeb Zadran (4-14) and Qais Ahmed (4-33) then complete the rout taking eight wickets between them to restrict the hosts for 107 in 28.1 overs.
