There is a possibility of forming a new government after the Election Commission makes public the results of federal parliament within February 17, he said. Dahal told this to journalists at the Bharatpur Airport in Chitwan on Friday.
“I have already met the President and discussed about forming the new government. The new government will be formed soon,” Dahal said.
In a different context, Dahal said he has no differences with CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli over party post. “Discussions are underway to manage political line and organisational setting. We are trying to come up with an arrangement that will be acceptable to everyone,” he said. “I and Oli have no hunger for power as we have already worked as party chief and prime minister.”
The Maoist Centre and CPN-UML will unify, sooner or later, Dahal said.“Our discussions regarding party unification are moving in a positive direction,” he added.
