Newly appointed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that a historic opportunity to achieve the goal of building a prosperous and happy Nepal has started.

Speaking at an event organised in Tundikhel on the occasion of 68th Democracy Day on Monday, he said that the era has begun to materialise people’s long cherished dream of development, political stability and prosperity of Nepal.

The country has entered the phase of forming the government after the conclusion of three-tier of election, he said and added the government will work adhering to the established standards.

“Respect to sovereignty, national unity, people’s security, institutionalise rule of 

law, good governance, stability, development and prosperity will be the government’s future guide line,” PM Oli said.

Highlighting that the country has reached this stage by overcoming various obstacles, PM Oli, who is also the Chairman of CPN-UML, said, “A mega campaign has 

been launched to bring happiness in the lives of Nepali people by fulfilling their desires.”

He appealed all the political parties and general public to join hands together for the development of the country.“Time has come to transform the people’s long cherished dreams,” Oli said, adding, “He appealed all to be united to take the country towards the path of prosperity by mobilising resources.”
