PM Oli first met senior politician Sharad Yadav before talking to Indian National Congress Presi-dent Rahul Gandhi and former PM Manmohan Singh.
Shortly after landing in New Delhi, Oli interacted with the business community and called on India’s industrialists to invest in Nepal. He assured them of security and a favourable climate for investment.
Gandhi expressed his hope that the new government in Nepal would bring stability and take the nation on the path of development. He added that India wanted to see development in Nepal, according to members of PM Oli’s delegation.
PM Oli is learnt to have clarified that Nepal will move ahead by maintaining good relations with its neighbours. (PR)
