Himalaya Roadies gears up for second season

Lives changed, destinies altered, and television history made,” or so the slogan goes. Wild Wild West—the second season of Himalaya Roadies is around the corner as auditions are set to be held in Itahari in April 20, Chitwan on April 23,  Butwal on 25, Pokhara on 28, and Kathmandu on May 1. 

The first season of the competition-based reality series saw 10,000 people audition for the 18 contestant spots. With over a 100,000 subscribers on its YouTube page, the show is especially popular among Nepali Youth. The second season will see contestants travel to western Nepal where they will compete for a grand purse of Rs 20,00,000 and a Yamaha Bike. 

Deeya Maskey, Raymon Das Shrestha and Aasis Rana aka Laure will be returning to the judge’s table while First Season’s winner Saman Shrestha and Runner-up Animesh Shahi will be the hosts for this season. According to the series director, Aman Pratap Adhikary, “the Second Season will be full of challenges and entertainment. We as a team are excited for everyone to see the epic next chapter our team will put together.”
