Australia Awards to train 21 Nepalis in inclusive education

The course begins on April 16 and ends on the 27th.
The success of the 2016 edition of the course encouraged the Australian government to plan another course on inclusive education.
This course supports Nepal government’s vision to mainstream inclusive education practices that promote equitable access to education services, the Australian Embassy in Kathmandu said in a statement.
The course aims to build capacities of participants to adopt and implement policies and practices of inclusive education. It would help them to create an equitable and accessible learning environment in Nepal. Australian Ambassador to Nepal Peter Budd encouraged the participants at an event held in Kathmandu on Thursday.
Addressing the gathering at the pre-departure briefing, Ambassador Budd said, “Promoting human development through improved access to, and quality of, basic education is one of the three priorities of Australian Aid Investment in Nepal.
